think your right about the tumble, it does a few minutes at a high then drops down to much less..

Will check on what we can do about the halogens

Hiya,I think thick curtains make a diffrence in keeping the heat in.
I have one set with a fleece blanket backing and 3 sets of curtains thermal lined.
I set hand made by me and also lined. 2 windows in bedrooms have just blinds.
