hi fixx its www.truecolours.org.uk and if they are ok its going to save me big time and earn lots of brownee points hee hee hee
That address only goes to a holding page - nothing to buy?
Could you tell us the brand you're looking for?0 -
aha, found it, it's actually http://www.truecolour.org.uk/
ok, have run a whois search, and some searches on the data found, and I don't think you shoudl buy from there. The address the company is run from has been associated with several other websites which have turned out to be scams ror very poorly run businesses.
It's also only listing a hotmail address for contact, and has been set up using a very basic 'out of the box' service - even if it isn't a scam, I doubt it's a very serious company, and suspect their service could be pretty poor - it's just not worth the risk IMO.
The vast majority of the brands they stock seem to be pretty common - I think if you tell us what exactly you're looking for we might be able to help you find a better source - trust me, there are a lot of women on this site who will know an awful lot about makeup and where to find it cheap :rotfl:0 -
hi all thanks again ,tryed market stalls and none left ,its calles ,Max Factor Sheer Radience Shimmering Beige 120 ,and has to be this number 1200

hmm, have had quite a look around, and you're right, it's discontinued, and very hard to find! I still can't recommend buying from True Colours, but ultimately it's your choice whether or not to take the risk
It seems to be a shimmer/highlighter rather than an actual foundation - I think the best option would be to offer to take her shopping for a new alternative e.g. Benefit HighBeam/moonbeam, or a more 'bronze' one - at least then you'll know that if she finds one she loves, you can replace it in future! I can't find any equivalent product being made instead by Max Factor, but someone else might know of one.
You could also try setting up a search alert on eBay in case one gets listed - I can see that one sold only a couple of weeks ago, so it's possible another one could be listed in the not-too-distant future.
Sorry I can't find anything else!0 -
This website has the product you want for £7.95 They're British and both Web of Trust and McAfee Site Advisor give the site a good rating. I've not used them personally so this isn't a recommendation. But for less than 8 quid might be worth a try for a test purchase.

hi all other half looking new make up and only place I can get it is from a web site called "true colours" but can find very little about them and dont want to give my paypal details as this seems to be the only way to pay them any help please0

Is Max Factor still made by Proctor and Gamble?
If so, just give them a call on their customer care line and ask them what it's been replaced with!
It could have just been rebranded to a different name (they tended to do that when I worked in their administration division many years ago!)0
