Why not give your paypal details, especially if it is a specific thing you can find nowhere else - you simply pay through paypal, they don't get to know your card number or anything, and if it does not arrive or is wrong you can relaim through paypal! The disadvantage is with the seller on paypal.

Not always Jane, just because someone lists with paypal does not always make them a safe company to buy with, they can still take the money and run. It tends to work on the favor of the buyer if your using ebay, but not with other companies, its far harder to get money back from fraudulent companies.

If the cost is more then £100 I'd say use a credit card but I hope its not- thats an awful lot of make up if it is and your may end up with a large slap!!

But for makeup, aside from the brands mentioed above by Sarah, there is also Mac, HQ Hair, Amazon, Debenhams... its also worth seeing what your other half uses, which brands as some women are loyal to certain companies, others may want a change, next level up or more delux brand as a treat. If you don't want to ask her or make subtle hints or ask her friends, check out which mascara or lipstick she uses, these are normally the more used items and so quality matters.

I thought by law a business had to have an actual physical address listed on their website for the DSR.

I would be dubious if they have no address. Run the URL through http://www.whois.net to find out more information.

Is it this website: http://www.truecolors.com/ ? I can't find anything else...

They are really only selling products for people to sell from home (i.e. you have to buy lots), and are american based - so, no, I wouldn't buy from them. Your wife woudl never get through the quantity, and it'd take forever to ship!

If her fave makeup is discontiued, why not take her for a day out - go to any big department store and the makeup counters will be happy to demonstrate their makeup by giving her a mini makeover - hopefully then she'll find something new she likes. And then you can also take her out for a nice lunch/dinner after and she'll think you're awesome! :T

if its discontinued some brands send their disc. stock to be destroyed.
Our local market sells what looks like discontinued stuff. If in doubt about a site best stay away;)
