Does this sound reasonable

Just sent a letter to HFC to try and claim my ppi back (my loan finishes in April). The reasons cited are:
This loan was a top up loan and the original loan I took out the salesman said that if i took ppi it would be better for me when scoring the loan - hard to prove though.
Never asked if I had any existing helath problems - suffer from depression/stress and at the time was going through gall bladder problems, which would stop the policy from paying out.
Never informed me of other options of ppi i.e. taking out one that I could pay monthly, but put the ppi on top of the loan
Never asked if I had any other menas of paying the loan if I was sick/redundant or died. As a public sector worker I have a good sick pay/redundancy and death in service and the salesman knew what job I did (so why would I pay aprox 3000 for something I didnt really have to, could have saved the money).
Plus they have been fined for misselling ppi in branches.
Do these points sound acceptable.

Yes, they sound like the normal reasons for misselling.
Good luck0 -
As we all know, why would anybody buy a product for 3,000 to cover us for something we already have for free - im trying to make that one stick cos if it was explained to me properly there is no way would I have taken it out. Would have preferred the money I paid to spend on myself lol0
