Its nothing to do with shirking responsibities huni, the banks have been taking risks and acting wrongly for years, there are lots of people in the same situation. My parents were in a similar situation a few years ago coming up to retirement, I don't know how much as they have never told me, but they were sick with worry and I really wish they hadn't bottled it up and got some help. We are all in debt here so no one is judging you, but I think we all have times feeling guilty, I know I do, you can share your feeling here and people understand, but don't dwell on it or let it get you down, whats done is done, Niddy is going to help and you will have a lovely retirement to look forward too soon. I'm only on page 12 so mustn't have got to the jackie collins bit yet
SW good luck for tomorrow, hope it goes well x
Goodnight all xThanks Zippy,
Can only repeat your comments about Niddy being a star - he certainly is!
I still can't help but think that my situation is my own fault but, as explained earlier, I was relying too heavily on a relationship which went pear-shaped at the wrong time - as did the housing market!
So, I am not totally shirking responsibility for all this!0 -
Not sure about a Jackie Collins novel, though. I have never read any myself but isn't there a lot of sex in them? Perhaps that will be the next best thing on the thread!!!!
ANN !!!!! tut tut tut .......... I know we were talking about your education but that is not on the curriculum !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Mr 3Dogs 3-7-12

That's brilliant news, SW!
But we all knew you would come through with flying colours - but it is so good to have it confirmed!
I think you deserve that Chinese! I know that it is probably considered extravagant - but a single indulgence should not hurt!
Or you could compromise - and get a supermarket Chinese ready-meal? Although some of them aren't very nice.
