The guy needs a bullet through the skull for what he done to the women in his life but as a footballer, unfortunately there was little help there for him as he knew he had it good. I respect him as a sportsman, not as a man!

Youre absolutely right Nid IF he was a wife beater then he is scum but the press can print anything and if your ex needs to sell a book then.....
i have seen him round the town now and then and he does seem haunted/troubled like you say he had it all like so many of these young footballers then too much money with too little brain. they have a duty of care to young fans when my son met him years ago he couldnt hardly speak. i was in a local pub near here and saw one of our promising young toon players talking to the local dealer... i felt like wringing his neck.... silly boy. sometimes im glad my son didnt make it when he was a young county player.
