Don't really know what avi stands for but I think it is that little bit on the side which gives you the statistics and stars.

Beanielou has "Clutter Castle" as here, which was what prompted my comment!

    So do I, Elsie!

But then I am senior .....

I'm on my way there Ann......and its getting closer very quickly. I always remember someone telling me that when you get to a certain age, that the time just flies by.....and they were right.!!

When you are young, you think of retirement as being somewhere is the future, and then you get to your 40's and it fleetingly crosses your min. d Then 50 comes and you still think its not too bad......still got plenty of time..........and then 60 is just around the corner, and I now realise we don't have long left to work.......What I want to know is, where did all the time go. It only seems like yesterday that we got married and its our 39th Wedding Anniversary next week.....I can't be that old....can I ??

The telly people are now going on about the fact that Labour and Lib Dems are going to form a government!

I am not a politician (and certainly not a Tory!) but I don't see how this is going to work! Whatever you think of them, the Tories did get the most votes!

Can't do the maths very well, but I would have thought that even joining the Labour and Lib Dems numbers together it still won't be enough!

I thought we were in a democracy! Perhaps the Queen will have to sort them out!

    Fascinating stuff, though!

Savingwannabe, avi is short for avatar, which is a little picture you can put under your name to represent you - ask Numpty Monkey how it's done, he sorted mine out for me. Location is as it says - where you are. You can put your actual location or something obscure, whatever you like, but remember you might not want the world and his mate identifying you from your location!

My user name was just the daftest thing I could think of at the time - something a cross between Tolkien and Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy.

Ann - when I was getting phone calls by the dozen, I started answering them saying "Who's calling?" When they identified themseles I said "Just one moment..." and went and put my phone down in another room for a few minutes. When I went back they had hung up. I varied the places where I put the phone - one day the caller had a fascinating conversation with the contents of my knicker drawer......

Oh! Thanks. I am in the new style thread. I find it difficult to click thanks as the thanks option doesn't always appear very quickly after someone has posted.

Oh my! Ann i think the Queen has to remain impartial. Someone somewhere will be chatting to the parties about observing rules but rules for this situation are few and far between i am sure.
