I have just been really naughty. I have ordered a chinese meal for supper from my takeaway.

oh dear. First one in 3 months. So much for being healthy.

Don't think Chinese food is particularly unhealthy, SW.

Although I do suppose it depends on what you order.

But - enjoy it without feeling guilty!

It is healthy if i cook it myself but when i order it it does look very naughty.

When i first moved to Hampshire people at work were terribly excited as Indian people were quite rare. Whenever i invited my friends back to my place they wanted to eat indian food. I didn't eat it or cook it!!!

Mum gave me a recipe for indian chicken curry (yum! only one i can cook) but it is very unlike Indian takeaways. If we ate takeaway food we would all have dreadful hearts due to fat content.

Does this make sense? Probably not.

SW are you indian? I'd never have guessed....... you seem way too bonkers (in a nice way) to be honest - maybe Westernised is the right phrase? :D

    Does make perfect sense, SW.

Guess the food produced in Indian takeaways and restaurants does not resemble the "real thing". I do like a curry, though.

Have just made a pasta bake, which I will enjoy with a glass of red wine.

H mouseann well good job I got 2 bottles as my niece is coming over later but your welcome to a glass or two pet! My lovely ex colleague was Indian and made me her grannies (cant remember the indian word SW help me here for Grannie) recipie for a lovely fragrant curry in her first home she also escaped from an intolerable situation. It was devine, nothing like the western curries we get here in Britain. Her brother was the most intelligent young man i have ever met. His views were reminisant of the old values we used to hold here years ago.

    Hi Ann

Regards to the Barclaycard - ref: #942

You sent me a copy of their letter - key point below:

    barclays.jpg

Basically this is their standard response to such a claim, as made by you in your response from post #942 - so it is perfectly normal, don't worry!

You now respond with this CCA Dispute / s.10 Cease & Desist - which tells them you're not a happy bunny and reminds them of your rights and their responsibilities. You want a stalemate - you need them to respond with their final response at which point, you send my version and then this account is finished - dead & buried. :D

This is nearing the end now - simply send the letter above and await their reply, if they do not send a final response then we argue until they do! :rotfl:

Don't you just love it seeing the banks grovel for mercy or back down relentlessly! So from their silly threats they now don't even ask for any money - idiots!
