My car insurance was due 01 June.I purchased the policy with the post office
on the 27/05.I also took the £50 cashback they were offering plus the £16.50 from Quidco.
Bang! on the 28/05 I had a young driver pull out on me.I rang the P.O. and
due to their terms (more than two claims in the 3 years you can't get the no claims bonus with them.Regardless of fault it would seem.
Check it you wan't the cover oh and don't forget to claim back a refund if you had already paid for it-bear in mind that your premium may now increase because of the accident.
Don't you just love insurance companies putting down a fault claim whilst it's
ongoing.I guess they don't believe in using P for pending.

You can have no claims, just no claims protection.
Whilst the claim is being dealt with, it will go down as being the fault of both drivers, both at ypour end and at his end. The reason they can't put as "p" for pending, is that if for whatever reason, the other driver's insurer fails to pay your insurer out, then it will be a fault claim (fault meaning whose insurer paid for the damage, as opposed to who caused the accident).
But all being well, you will get it back when the claim is settled.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0
