    I've been Money Tipped!
I('m another who has health restrictions. If I had more energy and endurance my problem would be not enough hours. I walk a friend/neighbours dogs as well as my own. we have animals to care for. (The Cinnamon trust is an excellent opportunity for volunteers as well as the people/pets involved, as sometimes staying at home getting contact with other people needs to be thought about)

The house IMO could very easily be a full time job, I always have so much on my list to do, and never enough energy to do it all!

Books, books, books for the times you are stuck at home ill/tired and unable to get out. Sadly, I don't have the concentration ATM for books (something I hope will be resolved shortly). But books take you anywhere, and can be educational.

Gardening, especially days like to day, is a chore that's a pleasure and MSE: grow your own....flowers and fruit and veg. :)

TBH, I can't remember how I got everything done when I was working.....:)

How do I spend my days?

I have 3 children and all 3 have diabilities so it is a constant trawl from one medical appointment to another, to meetings at school, therapies etc plus when they get home, it is go go go in sorting them out.

I used to volunteer for a local special needs playgroup a couple of mornings a week but after a particularly violent attack by my middle son on me which left me unable to walk for a few days and walking with difficulty for a few weeks after, I was forced to give it up.

Sandwiched in between all the normal appointments there are always hospital admissions, my middle son was in hospital for most of last week with cellulitis and my youngest was admitted twice in November for a total of over a week with severe asthmatic episodes and chest infections....middle son has a chesty cold right now, so I am on tenterhooks just waiting for youngest to go down with it and to have yet another admission.

For myself, I am studying law via OU....this tends to get done in the wee hours of the morning.

My day starts at 7 and finishes at around 2am ish but on bad days with youngest and his asthma (any late night asthma attack can take ages to get sorted as he is complex autistic and we have to go through the whole bed time routine again), it can be all night.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

I am a SAHM to 3 children aged 8, 5 and 2. I find I am busy for most of the time and can't remember the last time I got bored. I am currently undergoing assessment to become a Foster Carer which will add more to do each day as well. I started keeping a few chickens 2 years ago in my back garden and now have increased the number since we moved house. They keep me busy as do my new ducklings!!
When do get some time to myself, I love to browse on the internet. I don't tend to watch much TV, but I love reading.
