Can you please tell me what the current situation is regarding claiming any charges either old or new whilst on JSA. Do the bank have a code that states whilst on benefits they cannot take charges from your account? Thanks

There is no such code and no such law that prevents banks taking bank charges from benefit payments. Before anyone quote the Social Security Administration Act 1992, the charges it speaks about does not relate to bank charges.0
