Oh thats good :-)Bump due 22nd September0

Sorry, but loved the joke in the very first GoCompare opera ad: "How much do you think they're paying him [the singer]?" ... "Oh, he's only a tenor!"0

I switch over when the gocompare ads start, not sure how that is working for them.:pMember of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

All you need to know is "Go Compare". If you know that enough to know you want to switch over you've seen it more than enough to remember the name next time you need a price comparison website.0 -

Ah, but the thing here is that next time I need a price comparison website I make the moot point of not going to that site.Being brave is going after your dreams head on0 -
this is annoying, but not nearly as much as the webuyanycar advert....0

it may have worked for gocompare, but i wonder if it's damaged every other advertiser out there? i found that advert so annoying, i now no longer watch ANY tv adverts, period. as soon as they come on, i hit the mute button and change to bbc news channel.
that advert has done me a favour, by making my mind up, that when my cable subscription runs out, i won't be renewing, and i will be ditching the tv licence too and just moving completely to internet catchup tv.
You won't get away from it on interenet catchup tv. When you watch Demand five, it's shown on nearly every ad break in the programme. The more I live, the more I learn.

How little I know.!!0 -
I loathe the advert and will never, ever buy anything from Go Compare. Wynne Evans, who's he? Never heard of him. And as for reworking "Over there" - how dare he? He'll never match up to the great James Cagney who sang "Over there" in the musical biography of George M Cohan.0

So glad I don't have a television. I have seen the advert at my Mum and Dad's and would not buy through Go Compare.
The advert is as bad at the prat on "Picture" the LOAN!0
