looking for 2 pin adapter for pc case

Hope someone can advise, I have an lcd panel on my pc case that has two 2 pin sockets coming out of it - which I presume is to power the LCD panel on the front that will read the temperature of my system.

however I have no 2 pin connectors on my motherboard, the plug looks very similar to that of the 3 pin fan connectors on the mobo though.

Any advice appreciated

thanks

    can you post a piccy?
hard to tell what you mean.

eg: is it 2 wires going to a 3 pin plug, or does the plug only have 2 sockets etc..

One must be the power and the other the temperature sensor?

I presume you have the cables?

    Which case?

Their is a seperate temperature sensor, aswell as these two cables. The ends of the cables themselves are where the two pin plugs are. The plugs look almost identical to the three pin fan connectors - except for the obvious.

I have no idea as to the manufacturer of the case as it was purchased second hand as a system (which I stripped).

I shall try to post a picture soon.

    Thanks for your help
