Seal on window gone

Im not orginally from this country so double glazed windows are something i don't know anything about.
From talking to people i think my lounge room window seal has gone, this window along with the main bedroom window were already installed when i moved in, so unsure how old they're.
The lounge room window goes from ceiling to floor and is split with 2 panes of glass, is has upvc running along the middle separately both pieces, the bottom pane of glass has water droplets in between both pieces of glass as i have tried to wipe it off and thus looked like quite a fool. This piece of glass is always very cold, quite a difference from the top pane of glass.
Can i get this fixed and if so how is it fixed and is it expensive?

Depending on where you are in the country, it should cost you approx £100 per square metre, plus labour.
Contact some local double glazing firms and not one of the big firms, because the latter will just rip you off. Get a few quotes - most firms will quote you over the phone if you know the measurements and type of frame it's in.
Ask your neighbours if any of them can recommend anyone.British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -
UPVC frame, yikes thats quite expensive. Right hand corner of my wall from this window is always cold and gets mould alllll the time.Mummy to two girls: October 2013 and February 20160

Search for Window Medic or window doctor, who will supply and fit new units. Most window suppliers will simple tell you that you need the whole frame replacing too. Most sealed units last 10 yrs or up to 12,0

Thanks for info guys.
In our bay windows at the front of the house, ALL the 'main' windows are absolutely fine but the smaller squares at the top have misted up/moisture in them. Is this fixable or will new units be needed 'up top'?
Many thanks0 -
I read the title of this thread and my first thought was "he'll come back when he's hungry"
