Is it me or are there more and more ebay scams going on? - ive noticed the amount of copyright, stolen, illegal items on ebay has increaced dramaticly over the past year. its made me forget about ebay all together!
the last item i was looking at was a memory card for my camera - 2GB SD card - was £30, free postage, looked good, untill i looked very carefully, it wasnt sandisk but a very good copy. didnt go through with it though. DVD's, etc... aswell, far too many illegal copies on there - how do ebay allow them to continue to sell these items?
the poll above is multipul choice
Do you still use ebay for your sales and "bargains"?

I've been an eBay member since 1999 and have never seen the volume of problems we currently have. What's really frustrating is that eBay have the technology and resources to combat most frauds but choose not to do so.
I'm sure this isn't because they care only about profit, just that the company has grown to big to be able to make effective decisions in the required time. Can I help?0 -
What i am trying to understand is if it really IS profits they care about or if it is the fact they do not have enough staff to moderate it all

Saving is the new spending! :A0 -
I still use ebay for buying and selling. You can get some great bargains but you have to know how to use it - don't buy from dodgy sellers ( or those who appear to be leaning toward dodginess).Ebay~ A wretched hive of scum and villainy.

I think the problems are in certain categories, but it is becoming more like a market and less like a high street every day0

i still buy and sell on ebay but im seeing more and more shill bidders and ebay doing less and less to stop them
the software is outthere - they could stop them, they could stop the shill bidders but it would but their profits so they just arent interestedSee the stars they’re shining brightEverything’s alright tonight0 -
