Scrappage and discount?
I am looking to buy a new mazda 3 and the dealer has offered me £3000 scrappage instead of the usual £2000. Should I be looking to haggle for a further discount or is this a generous offer?

They were doing this when I bought a Mazda using the scrappage. They wouldn't move. Doesn't mean you can't ask though.
I wasn't buying a Mazda3 but I think they see the extra £1000 as all they'll give.
They were giving £6000 off RX-8s with scrappage. I wasn't buying an RX-8 either.0
