Source of warning- Av program or from elsewhere? I'd be wary if it came in an email, especially if I had opened it, and wary of following instructions.
Can you paste a copy? Some of our educated might be able to advise further.0 -
it didnt come in an email, i think the warning came via adware, a box came and said something a file was infected with a trojan horse, i cant paste a copy as i say it came in a box and i clicked ok and ive run adware and avg is running as we speakNo Links in Signature by site rules - MSE Forum Team 20

might be one of the "false" notifications that try to get you to download a bit of software to "fix" the problem. Ignore it and just run your normal anti-virus and adaware to check
if it keeps popping up then come back and I'll give you more adviceEx forum ambassador

Was it attached to winrar by any chance? I remember finding one of those baby's on someones comp. Turns out they'd downloaded a cracked version of winrar and it was on there.0
