We've accepted their offer..What next?

We have just accepted an offer on our flat (leasehold). The respective solicitors will be contacted tomorrow and the ball will start rolling.

Obviously we want everything to run as smoothly as possible, so is there anything WE can do as vendors to speed along the process? We don't have a clue what, if anything, we are expected to do and feel a bit guilty sitting on our bums.

Any ideas what we should be doing?

    Sit tight. My advice is to keep in regular contact with solicitor and EA. Good Luck!

    Your solicitor will send you out a load of forms to complete - get them done asap. Also find copies of warrenties, planning permissions, service histories etc etc - all will no doubt be asked for and usually at the last minute causing panic and meyhem

    Yes, make sure you've got all the leasehold information available - proof of any service charge you pay, proof of last payment of ground rent, management company accounts if you receive them, contact information for the management company/freeholder - as you'll need all this information for the form filling ahead (have just been there selling leasehold property!)
