CoOp electrical shop - big thumbs up

About two years ago I bought a Bosch tumble dryer via the online Coop electrical shop.
It broke this weekend and I called Bosch who told me that they don't have a record of exact date of sale but the serial number shows manufacture Jan '08, and if I could not show a receipt proving purchase within two years exactly, I would have to pay £85 plus parts or £189 for a year's cover.
I called Coop and asked them for the exact date of purchase, which is two years and two weeks, and they are pursuing the matter on my behalf with Bosch and said even if Bosch continue with their mean attitude, under the sale of goods act, they will pay 2/3 of the repair cost, as an item like this should last six years. I didn't ask for any help from them other than to confirm date of purchase so I was impressed and grateful for their help and generosity, and would recommend them to anyone.

I'm dealing with something similar at the moment - a 2.5yr old TV.
Fingers crossed, the wheels are in motion for a refund, although they weren't QUITE as keen to tell me that I was entitled to this - I had some help from another forum luckily. Nevertheless, their emails and calls have been clear, helpful and attentive.

We ordered with them for two reasons - good price (at the time) and free weekend delivery - do they still offer that? We were really chuffed at the time.
    My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j
