Road Tax Question

Hi am likey to be buying a car tommorow which has been SORN for the last 2 years. Do i have to wait for the V5 to come back before i can tax it? As the last owner has owned it for 14 years the V5 is not in the current style.

All of the above should work, but if not try the "saynoto0870" site HERE and put DVLA into the company search box

You can tax it at the post office just fill in V10 application and take your insurance and MOT. If its the new style log book with the green new keepers counterpart with barcode then you don't need the V10.
