Taste London card offer - £30 per year - runs out midnight 5/3/10

Apologies if this has been posted already, I didn't see anything when I searched the forum.

If you are in London then you may be familiar with the Taste London card. It's a discount card for, usually, 50% off the food bill at a huge number (1000+) of restaurants in London and the home counties. It includes big chains (La Tasca, Strada, etc) as well as local independent places.

It is usually £70 per year, but until midnight on Friday 5th March, if you use the promotional code "SPECIAL" then it is only £29.95 for 12 months. Better still, it is £29.95 if you chose to renew after 12 months and for every year for life.

£30 is a really good deal for this card. If you eat out only a few times a year it would probably pay for itself.

Also, I get no kick-backs or bonuses from this deal. Simply thought I'd spread the word.

I have the gourmet dining card, - bought for me as a birthday present. We have used it about six times, and already made our money back on it.
Out of interest, what chains are covered by the taste london card?
The gourmet diners one covers prezzo, pizza express, the real greek amongst others.

Have a look at the tastelondon website, it features Pizza Express (50% off, not 2 for 1 on mains like the gourmet card), Strada, Prezzo, Real Greek, La Tasca, Gourmet Burger Kitchen. They are all 50% as well, so it really is worth it at this price. To be honest though, other than GBK (occassional sinful lunch) I use mine more for independents than chains, for me that is what eating out is all about.

Got the confirmation email for my cheapo Taste London card! I will soon be dining at 50% off. It went through at £29.95 all-in too.

Have just ordered the full membership card and received confirmation. I had a 3 month trial card from the MSE giveaway a few months ago and while I only used it twice, I made some decent savings.

Just bought this card for £29.95! In the 'Promotional code' field, type in LOYALTY and you should get it at that price!
