Boiler Problems After Yearly Service

Hi, my parents had a new boiler installed by Warmfront. Last year about a month after the Service the FP715Si unit on the wall kept switching the hotwater on and off, the Warmfront Engineer said the Service Engineer had not put back a wire correctly. The one year gurantee with this firm was running out and they had letter after letter informing them of the costs of repair and urging them to renew. My parents however knew they actually had a two year guarantee with Warmfront so ignored them. This year the same problem has again occured after the Service! and they have again received letter after letter from this firm urging them to renew. Coincidence!! The hotwater keeps switching itself on and off every 30 second or so, overriding it manually does no good, it then goes off and stays off until the correct time for it to come on, the next day it starts playing up again. Just wondered if this is a known 'Service scam' to get people to renew their insurance. Am going to contact Warmfront but as the two year gurantee ran out recently not sure if they will help. I just feel it's too much of a coincidence for what appears to be the same fault to occur and the number of renewal letters has been overwhelming. Anyone else experience this?
