Do i have to sell the item

Again, I never implied the buyer was a scammer just ignorant. Yes we all get distracted but a little note after paying just saying "soz thought it was paid" would suffice. Its just common courtesy surely. With ebay once you win the bid you stop others who may have actually wanted the item a chance of winning it.

wow great advice maybe I should stop using ebay and just throw away the hundreds of pounds I make on ebay each month, why didn't I think that LOL
I never said it caused me stress, just annoying.
I never said the buyer was a scammer.

All I am merely pointing out is how ignorant some and I mean some ( a small % of people) who use Ebay can be at times. yet in Ebays eyes the buyers can do no wrong and sellers should pander to buyers needs constantly. Not only are non payers annoying to the seller but its annoying to other genuine buyers who could have got an item cheaper, but no doubt believing that item has been sold have gone on to buy another from someone else.

Thanks for all you opinions but as already mentioned I will continue with this sale as the buyer has now paid and the item is being dispatched tomorrow.
