Boiler coming on when it should be off

Glad to hear it.
The programmer and stats tell the zone valve motor to move, this then actuates the microswitch which tells the boiler to fire.
There is a permanent live to one side of the microswitch, hence why it can appear to over ride the programmer and other controls.0
