Which Wireless Audio Video sender is better

Options
We're looking to put a tv in our room and want to watch sky+ there. We don't want to use cables so we're looking at wireless senders. I've found two but don't know which one is better. What do you guys think? And don't worry about the prices shown.

Or if you know of another one that would work just as well. I would ideally like to be able to use sky+ in the bedroom as I know some have trouble doing this.
What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..

If it doesn't work with your set-up Argos will take it back under their 30-day money-back guarantee.

The 5.8gh models are supposed to be better but you have to pay alot more for them!

As they both use the same 2.4ghz technology there should be very little to choose between them. Neither will let you use the Sky + remote to change channels in the upstairs room.

I'd go for the Maplin model as it's cheaper. But be warned, if you have a wireless computer network or microwave these will be cause the signal to break up.

This one will let you change the channels (but still 2.4ghz):

I'd spend a little more and go for a 5.8ghz model such as (will not work sky + remote though):

I use the tecknica model from tesco. it works reasonably well and with the sky+ HD and virgin media remotes. its a 2.4ghz so as I've wifi it does interfere with it but as I use it manly at night to watch sky in bedroom I just put the router off and during the day the sender off. It's quite cheap as well. the same goes of the aldi medion senders.

Why don't the regulators that we pay our taxes to make rules so that products that trash your own or your neighbour's WiFi are not allowed?
