HMV not sending me my order - what can I do?

I ordered two identical CDs from HMV (one for me, one for my dad for fathers day) on 6th June. It said on the website "usually ships within 24 hrs". The CD was on special offer and included a DVD- price was reduced to £8.99 (everywhere else on the web was selling the 2CD version for around £15)
They put the item on special order with their supplier and whenever I enquire since then I am just told they check into it every day but are still awaiting it from supplier. I have just checked on their website and this 2cd version is no longer listed and the basic CD is £10.99. I reckon that they realised they were too cheap and are trying to get out of supplying me.
What can I do? Getting nowhere complaining to HMV can I complain to an ombudsman or Trading Standards?
(I really REALLY want the CD as well!!)

Have they taken your money? If not, then probably you are not going to get the item.0

If the item was exceptionally cheap then the likelihood is that they have had a whole raft of orders and massively over sold it. If they didnt want to provide it they could simply cancel the order stating the item has been withdrawn from sale knowing that the vast majority of customers would just leave it at that.
Sounds like they are actually trying to get more supplies of it... I know when I ordered a CD once from a record store (wasnt a sale or anything like that) it took them almost 6 months to get it for me.All posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers

haven't too the money yet.
will just have to wait and see - only think is I am impatient and really do want the CD so am keeping myself from ordering it elsewhere as the DVD version would be great bonus0 -
They only take the money when the item is shipped so maybe they ran out of stock?0
