How to Close LTSB Savings Accounts

Have a few of these that no longer use (i.e. once the bonus has expired) and that are just sitting there unused. Cannot seem to find a way on internet banking to close these down. Do I need to phone or go into a branch?

I couldn't get anyone to close them over the phone but was eventually told that if you write to your branch with all the details, they'll shut them down that way for you. I don't visit the branch often, so that suited me better.
I requested they transfer any interest due into one of my Lloyds current accounts and also asked them to make sure I wouldn't be able to view the old account details online.
The accounts duly disappeared online and a couple of days later I received a closing statement and a tax deduction certificate, which saves another job in a few weeks' time.
I had 3-4 old accounts listed, all called Online Saver or Easy Saver, which made transferring to the most recently opened one quite tricky. That surely wouldn't be deliberate now, would it?!0
