Welcome I need to make £ - stick with this thread it performs absolute miracles!

If get keys take reading at new house and also take my energy owl over and make sure just about everything is switched off (it has storage heaters and I have no idea how they work)

Thanks fayjmck for welcoming me! even though i may not be able to complete all my to dos today i do feel better for starting my dfw on here!!!

with regards to storage heaters - i have a friend who has them, they are expensive to run but if you get the electric board to put you on the tariff which there is a cheaper night time rate and have them on through the night then they heat up and last through out the day till the evening. I hope that makes sense. If all else fails go buy some halogen fires, we used to have them when we had no heating, we only paid about £10 each and they have a safety mechanism which turns them off if they are knocked over. they only cost about 9p an hour to run!!!

hope it has all gone well today with the house!!!

take another day off if you are able to. set yourself little tasks!!
