When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important:D:D

Good morning everyone.....hooray for a new month;) Spring must be on its way.....:)
Hope you all had a lovely weekend.
Just working mornings again this week....mind you, that's enough, the nasty sore bit is playing up, I didn't sleep very well either, so am knackered...what a start to the week eh?!:o

    - Do daily clicks.
    - One poll surveys - only £1.85 away from £40. :j:j:j

good luck everyone with their lists for today and Happy St Davids Day too ;-)

I'mm having a 'skive' from college today as i'm knackered and the troublesome twosome DD1/2 are also full of cold and grumpy! However I do hope to put the day to some good use ;-)

    * change the washing over and line dry (first time since last summer) and thats all i've done ;-(
    * get to the shops with my list I made last night and stick to it!
    * take chops out the freezer (or the meal plan is already a lost cause on day 1)
    * list at least 2 things on ebay/amazon
    * take £850 out the bank for creche fees tomorrow ;-(
    * get some coursework done

    wish me luck!!!

    Hi everyone,

Started the day on a bit of a low. My gorgeous wee moggy needed 2 jabs at the vet at a cost of £24 - It wasn't just him saying 'ouch!'. Sadly, that's the reality though - he has a condition which, worst case scenario, means he will need 2 jabs every fortnight (i.e. £48 per month).

Anyway, study day today, so I've:

    - Just finished making a huge pot of soup which will last for most of the week.:T
    - All washing done at 30.
    - Daily clicks getting done as we speak.
    - Check online banking.
    - Doing backshift at work - taking in some soup and a yoghurt, so no need to buy anything.
    - Hopefully, now vet is out of the way, the rest of the day will be a NSD as we don't need anything else!

Hope everyone else is having a good day! Good luck for interview catmiaow!:)

    :A2014 = my year for change!
