Good quality PSU wanted for PC

Can anyone recommend a good quality, cheap (if possible) 400W or more PSU for my PC.Thanks.

    I dont think it is possible to get a good quality and cheap PSU.

    I like the enermax PSU's they have a fan speed control on them so you can reduce the noise. I havnt used the newer ones so I dont know how good they are.

    The receint PSU's Ive been using are the Hyper type R the modular ones are great in helping to keep the case tidy.

    Tagan and Enermax and two decent quality but fairly priced PSU manufacturers. I've used both, both are great, am currently with a Tagan.

    One I purchased last week is by Mercury 400 watt ATX sitching power supply, got it from maplin, think it was £27.

    Also remember about the power supplies on each rail.

    The 12V rail usually takes the biggest load in a modern PC, so make sure it has a high amperage output. Ideally get a dual 12V rail.

    hiper are good too put not cheap,used a 525watt one for years
    there or their,one day i might us the right one ,until then tuff
