Train Tickets

I haven't been on a train for years and now want to take my family on a short journey to York. I have been on the Trainline website but I'm getting confused. I put in its for 2 adults ( my daughter is under 5) and when I want to go and it comes up with a range of prices. Can someone tell me are the prices per person or for the whole return journey?

Usually you get a range of prices that represent ticket types such as standard return, 1st class etc - you can click on each ticket type and it will explain what it is. The price will be for both people for the whole return journey.
