If you put in a bid at £9.99 how did you getr a second chance offer @ £15? Confused!0

Whilst on the subject of shill-bidding can anyone confirm on whether I'm just being a tad over suspicious of these two ids edd31361 and supergran72 and the biddings that have taken place between them?
It's showing definite signs of possible shill bidding to me.

I wondered this as well. When you're offered a second chance offer the seller can only offer it to you at the maximum amount that you bid, in this situation it would be £9.99.-->♥<-- Sugar Coated Owl -->♥<--

Reported, will be funny if they lose their 494 100% feedback for a few shill bids.0

If they weren't both in Falkirk I'd say there was no problem. But now I'm not sure. Maybe just found a local supplier to save on postage?ankles4242 wrote:Whilst on the subject of shill-bidding can anyone confirm on whether I'm just being a tad over suspicious of these two ids edd31361 and supergran72 and the biddings that have taken place between them?

Supergran has bid on four of Edd's auctons and won one. Could she be his Mum?Can I help?0 -
There were a lot more and I mean a lot more of Supergran72's bidding on edd31361 listings.
This has been going on for a few months.
If you can manage to get hold of his selling history or her bidding history you will see what I mean.
It's not showing an awful lot at the moment because of the 30 day bidding history limit, anyone know of a shill bidding tool please?
Just been taking a quick look at the history between these two and here's just a sample of the bidding that has taken place.

Another thing, surely both parties should have more feedback given to and from one another based on all these biddings and sales? The Female of the Species is More Deadlier than the Male.0 -
Sorry - forgot to say - the bid I actually placed was £15, but the auction had a £9.99 starting price, so it showed at £9.99 until the dying seconds of the auction, when she bid against me it went to just above my max bid, ie. £16 but then the second chance offer came in at my max bid of £15!
I decided to buy the shoes as they are still massivley cheaper than any I have found in the shops (£50 in John Lewis) but when I get them, I am going to report her to stop it happening to others!
Thanks for your advice

M!ke wrote:A 2nd chance offer is where the auction is bidding and the person who won the bid doesnt pay so you can offer the item to any of the other bidders for the amount they placed a bid for.
Not only is it this, It is also when you have more than one item!! I have bought as couple of things because they were cheap to sell on ebay and when one sells I sometimes contact the other bidders with the others! saves time!!
