Leaking washing machine

My washing machine (Servis M6006) has a small leak - only about 1 drip every 30 second or so, but they only tend to get worse.
At first I thought it was from one of the inlet pipe joints but they're okay.
I've taken the back off the machine and the drip seems to be coming from a fitting on the inside - at the cold water inlet, then trickling down the pipe inside the machine and dripping to the floor.
Sorry I can't be more descriptive but I'm hoping there might be a 'washing machine expert' who would know what it is.
The fitting seems fairly difficicult to get to, to me at least, so unless it can be patched up I'll probably have to get an engineer out.
Still reading? I hope that means you've an idea what I'm on about.
Is there an easy way to remove the connector on the inside - suitable for a keen/novice DIY?
Or the more likely option. Any idea how much the part may be (+ fitting)?

I'll not take a chance on the £5.00 one as the condition isn't stated, but there are others listed so I'll hopefully still get it cheaper.
As you say it looks fairly easy to fit. Unfortunately when you're looking up at it with a mirror it's not as clear.0 -
there are new ones for that price too. they are pretty universal in most/alot of cases. the WM makers fit many identical parts into many different machines.
they buy in, those sort of parts.Get some gorm.0 -

Are the contacts at the top just to switch on/off?
I've looked on a couple of websites & this valve is used on several models, but there are at least 2 listed for Servis machines so I thought they must be specific.
If they are then I've hopefully found some.0 -
yes its a solonoid type device. power on operates the valve and power off shuts it.Get some gorm.0

I'd remove it and see if there is an debris in there first, that might have gotten past the filter.0
