Buying Flat with Parents?

Hello,
Whilst searching round for a stuidio apartment type thing to rent at silly prices I had the thought of asking my parents to help me buy/put the deposit down for one I pay the mortgage as rent/any other combination...
It seems to make sense though we're all pretty clueless in the matter, anyone done it before? What are the different combinations? - and advantages/disadvantages with each?
Anyone know where I can find advice?
Thank you

Assuming your parents have no need to retain an interest in the property, and your affairs are taken care of should you meet with unfortunate circumstance (i.e. your will ensures that your parents get their money back, or all of the house if you pre-decease them...), why is it any more complicated than
Parents give you money.
You put money in your bank account
You put down deposit including money parents have given you
