No buying toiletries in March challenge!

Finished 2 bottles of body lotion this week. Only 1 more bottle of it left - after this its only going to be body butter for me.

I love that. Its great to hear someon being confident about a distinctive feature. Fwiw IMO a larger, aqualine nose can really make a face look dignified, noble. I'd like a more...distinctive nose...mines ok though, nothing to complain about!

Good:I'm working my way through the magazine-freebie-stuck-to-the-advert-sachet-stash. I had not realised how much product they held - I've got another 3 days worth of moisturiser to go before they are all gone!

ohhhhhhhh I've not had a flake for YEARSSSS!!!! my fav were the white chocolate ones with the milk choc around the outside.

It's really hard this minimising toiletries - in that we're bombarded with offers...Body Shop and Tesco glitches....Buy a magazine get a "£10" product free... Buy a flake, win a lipstick....Aaarrrrgh!

Currently I'm doing ok with stuff like:
Hand cream (resisted a Nuxe one the other day);
Bubble bath/shower gel (I have some nice bits, although Original Source mint smells a bit like toothpaste!)

Not so good with:
Eye creams (as if buying more will eradicate my problems!)
Face creams (as above)
Hair products (if I don't like em from the off, then they dont get used up...)

Great pampering weekend everyone :A

Morning girls!!! You are all doing so well, congrats from me.



I have had SUCH a pampering morning, it's been fab!! Have used up the following:

• Tesco McAdam gloss shampoo - WIBA - yes, it was nice and I got it for 43p!!!
• Dior Intense Hydration face mask (freebie) - WIBA - would prefer to get it for free! :rotfl: (will put 50p in pot for this)
• 50ml pot of S&G Flake Away - WIBA - yes, and already have one full size pot in my stash (value £2.25). I am moving onto the Sugar Crush next though, can't wait (it smells HEAVENLY)
• Sanctuary body butter (150ml) - WIBA - yes, definitely (value £4). I've now started the BS Hemp body butter!!!
• Malmaison conditioner that I 'liberated' from one of their hotels last year - Would I nick it again? - no way, it was crap!!! Doesn't even deserve a token contribution to the savings pot. I'll update my sig with the new total.

Anyway, I am showered, shaved, plucked, preened, body buttered to within an inch of my life!! I removed PYNM varnish from my toes (pale pink - it was nice) and rubbed in cuticle cream - I am officially high maintenance today, ladies! :rotfl:
