OK so OFCOM is no more from 1st August

What effect, in any do we beleive that that will have upon our phone services.

Did they only deal with pricing issues, or was service an issue also ?

    It will be news to them,that are abolished by the 31/7/2006 .:D Where did you get that idea from.? Wishful thinking ?

    Do you think BT will come out fighting after 01/08.

    Maybe an all out price war with talk talk?

    I can see it now,

    Line rental £8 a month, talk as much as you like, its on us !!!

    Chris Williams, product manager for telecoms at Uswitch, said: "We give this a cautious welcome and its the right time to do it - there's real competition in the market now."

    Williams said he'd like to see BT cut line rental charges - but he predicted they will increase it. He expects BT to offer more bundles and simplified pricing: "with the aim of moving people to fixed costs rather than charging by call."

    I tremble when I see 'simplified pricing' as it generally means more expense for us.
