I am just wondering if any has recieved confirmation from the SLC because I was one of the first people to complete and hand in my form from my college and when I ring the automated service it says that my application is still being processed.
Has any1 been through the system in the past ? How late do they usually leave it .

If you're in year 1, you don't usually receive confirmation until August - usually late August.
I'm going into year 2, and I received confirmation a couple of weeks back - probably cos they only need to reprocess information already held, rather than an entirely new application. Hold in there, they get there eventually!Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.0 -
I haven't got mine yet but I'm going into year 3.. should get it soon tho. It also depends on your LEA..0

I'm starting uni in sept, I got mine last week. I was also worried, but I applied near the deadline. It depends on your LEA though. I'm Oxfordshire0

I applied very early so I'm not too bothered..0

I got mine in June, I am a newbie starting in Sept, dont know if that makes a difference? I was early sending my forms etc off though. I would assume that it probably depends on your LEA as to how quickly they process them. Mine is on a pilot scheme at the moment so have to make a good impression!
edit: I also applied online so dont know if that affects how quickly they process them?Sam0
