Asda photo processing

My daughter and her friends had 2 disposable cameras which they took to our local Asda on sunday to be processed, they also ordered an extra set of each of the prints at a total cost of £9.30. She was told they would be ready on tuesday but when we went to collect them on tuesday night they we were told they hadn't come back yet and should be back the next day. She went up again on wednesday only to be told they hadn't been taken away till tuesday night. She has just been in again to be told they're still not back and should be back tomorrow. I think 5 days to process 2 films is a bit much and I emailed a complaint to Asda yesterday but still haven't had a reply from them. She hasn't even had an apology or explanation from them as to why it is taking so long. She's only 13 so maybe I should go myself tomorrow and see if they're back yet.

Really not happy with them, I have always shopped at asda but recently I have found their standards are slipping.

We had a bad experience wth our local Adsa, and they do the processing on the premesis. I took some digital holiday snaps in just before christmas. Several of them had red marks on the prints. So next day I took them back to be repinted. Same problem on 5 of the prints. Complaned to the manager and told her that I wanted them printing correctly and my parking charges refunded, which they did.

Third attempt they got them right. Adsa photo printing is cheap, but so it seems is the quality.

Ring up and speak to a manager to see what is happening - they may be able to tell you more - sometimes the way assistants treat different ages is unbelievable!

Eventually got them at 7pm on friday night after being told on thursday to come back anytime after 10am tomorrow and went at 1pm on friday to be told to come back after 6pm. Emailed the customer services address on their website but it doesn't have a specific address for complaints, had no reply not even an email saying that they have recieved it and are dealing with it. Might just write a letter to the head office instead, the manageress in the store is absolutely useless have heard a lot people complain about her. When I think about the money she would have spent if she had got the bus (although she didn't, her and her friends walked it's a 15min walk each way) it makes me really angry. I did tell her to use the digital camera and I would have printed them off for her but she wouldn't listen, think she will next time.

She will now realise that 'Mum is always right!'

I would certainly write to the head office and complain about the service that your daughter received at the store - they may get back to you or offer you some vouchers but either way you have informed them of the way their store was performing!

I complained to Sainsburys via the internet a couple of weeks ago about their local store, within 4 hours I had had a phone call back to help me resolve it - I was impressed with that - but unimpressed at the fact that I hadnt given them my telephone number or even my nectar card number - they had tied my email address and name in with my nectar card and got my telephone number from that!
