Tesco Family Meal For Four for £5

To get this thread back on track....

We had the lasagne, mash and apple crumble last night and was lovely as a quick easy meal and there was more than enough for 4 of us. Will deffo buy again.

Chicken, cheese and bacon pasta bake was lovely, plenty for all, hubby had seconds.

Apple crumble was nice too (was happy that hubby prefers my own crumble :j)

Excellent value for a fiver will be adding another to my next shop, always handy to keep in the freezer for an easy dinner.

What a bunch of rude people. This offer is really good and the food is really tasty. It is shame that there is no vegetarian option but the person who posted this was making a comment NOT complaining. It is also a shame that they make the deal for 4 when some families are 7 or 3 or maybe just 2. However you CANNOT cater for everybody!! So if you don't want to buy the offer then don't and stop moaning!!

Thanks Op for the offer - we had their Steak pie last time it was in an offer - plently of good meat (no dubious chewy stuff) and as for a mention earlier that Tescos ought to think that all families are not 4 - well there's only me and O/H and we have another meal a day later (after quick cooling the food in the freezer then transfering to fridge). whats the prob - main meal for 2 days sorted

and for the Veggie comment - yes they are overlooked somewhat I think, but cant you just cook up double amounts and freeze your own ?? afterall veggies are cheaper than meat in the first instance ??? (no I'm not making facetious comments - we do just that for veggie meals infact on reflection we tend to eat more veggie than meat purely on cost baisis - and we grown our own in pots and tubs)

Fantastic...will sort my son and I out for a few meals and easy teas. Very busy few weeks ahead and this will save me time!

coop have feed 4 for £4 all the time, meal options change fornightly plus theyve aunt bessies bramley apple pit for £1 so same as tesco but more quantity and much nicer food
