haven't updated my list but filled 3 carriers for charity shop today, and have another couple to fill as I found an old coat (from the days when I was skinny enough to fit into kids clothes!) which will go and another I am going to give to my sil.

I also have 2 freecycle collections scheduled for tomorrow morning, hoping they come as one hasn't replied confirming time since she said she wanted it. Others were also interested though so hopefully it will be gone.

I am also collecting something off freecycle tomorrow but it is something useful so I feel ok about that.

I have removed a huge old carpet which was in the loft as the backing was disintegrating and making a mess. Off to the dump with it but lost the stanley knife used to cut it up. Hoovered most of the floor of the loft and will redo the edge bits later this week in the hope of finding the said stanley knife before my grandsons find it when the hit granny's loft to explore. Also filled a huge box of coffee mugs and plastic boxes and bits and some more clothes. Have decided that sorting my clothes would take too long so just turned the hangers the wrong way round and will look in a few weeks and see what I don't wear and then have a rethink on what to take to the charity shops.

    Evening all

Glad you are still all doing well. I've ground to a bit of a halt with the sun shining and the garden calling!

I have put the stuff from the shower room back and now have 2 boxes of stuff from there to rehome/sort. This is my big down fall, I do the initial sort of stuff out of a room but end of with boxes of it left to sort - I have 3 boxes at present to do so will try and do one of them tomorrow before sorting out any more stuff to add to them.

You turn your clothes hangers the wrong way round and when you wear an item you rehang it the correct way round( are u with me on that)Then you can see in a few weeks what has never been worn and what has. Is that as clear as mud or does it make sense? :rotfl:You can see I am trying!

    grunnie it's a great idea...but I know I'd have no clothes left!

I've sorted out 5 carriers of charity shop stuff, plus been through old study notes and have a big pile of paper for the recycling box. :) Still more to do but getting there! Must find my list and update it

DH is at work today and said to me on msn 'how much stuff have you got rid of so far today?' :rotfl::rotfl: 'I keep thinking I'll get home and you'll have got rid of the futon by yourself'...

.........I thought there's an idea so it's now on freecycle though they've been instructed I am not helping to lift it!!
