Fromatting stays "ON" in Outlook Express e-mail

I type a lot of e-mails which require considerable Bold and Underlining formatting in them.

Often after I've Bolded and Underlined a heading the formatting will simply not remove itself for the body of the text underneath and it's driving me crazy. I double click on Bold and Underline to remove it, but as soon as I start typing the first line of the text, the Bold and Underlining has reinstated itself again.

Do you double click on Bold and Underline ? I don't use OE but it is normal to single click to Bold/Underline to switch on or off. Also make sure you go to the first line and click on Bold/Underline (quick tip you can use the Ctrl key and B (bold) and ctrl + U to underline)
