Find the connection the wii uses and search for that with vga eg scart(from wii end, i dont know what the wii uses so scart is an example ) to vga

You can on some monitors directly depending on connectivity but why you would want to do that when tv is more than adequate

You need a gamebox google it they cost about £35 i have 1 . you plug wii leads into it , then plug the gamebox into computer speakers and the gamebox in to the vga connection on pc moniter . It works fine you can use it for other consoles as well .

Don't really think there's an easy way to do it, what inputs does the monitor have?

As far as I know the only 'official' outputs for Wii are composite and scart using a proprietary cable, it doesn't support HDMI. Looking around, there are specialist products claiming to achieve what you want to do - e.g. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Playstation-Nintendo-Monitor-Cable-Lead/dp/B0015MISAG

However I can't vouch for how good they are
