hi all, just put a couple of pounds in my tub :D
  • Hiya everyone!:hello:
I'm putting in £3 in the fund today ,as I just seem to "forget" to put in every day, but its going to be so nice to have some other money at :xmassmile I will keep going through sunshine ,wind, hail and rain no matter what really!
( should have put "Keep going no matter what" or "Keep calm and carry on")
May you fill up the great clutterbucket of life and may all of your leaks be in cheese sauce:D
Use it up, wear it out, make it do or do without:cool:
  • Mmmmmm....where is everyone else?
Ah well I'm just going to carry on regardless! - Further £10 going into the 365 account today as I found a bag of 20p pieces from the days when I had lots of change and a salary!!!
Bye for now- I'll just assume that the monies are being paid in on a monthly basis by everybody else or is it?
May you fill up the great clutterbucket of life and may all of your leaks be in cheese sauce:D

    heyyy,

I'm still about 3 week behind..... catching up slowly as and when people buy things off me..... only the other day I popped £10 in.

I was doing soooo well with money for the last 6 months and now, , due to lots of recent heartache, I don't know whats happened..... gonna have to start tightening my belt again and head back over to me weekly decleration thread....
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:
  • I'm still here and pot is still i 'intact' - but I must admit it is likely to be raised for family summer holiday at the end of the month!

will try my best, but if it's this pot of money or using a CC then the pot will be used!

However.....I will try doubly hard to replenish the pot before Christmas (if we use it that is).

  • Lovely to see you chickywiggle and planning ahead! :j
The only reason I'm sticking to this is because every January after:xmassmile I have an awful time as there is no money left to start the year off and then things go from bad to worse etc etc
This way I can start the year 2011 fresh with a "normal" month if you get what I mean :o
    Thanks for the brill idea!
PS. Further £5 catchup! baby steps Eh?

    Well, how's it going?

I was really good for the few couple of months, a pound a day every day, but I keep forgetting now and find I'm having to put the odd tenner in to catch up (GRrrrrr) but I'm still just about up to date.

The best tip from this thread was to keep one of those cheap, paper calendars near the tin and cross off the days. Thank goodness for that otherwise I would have no idea which day I had or hadn't added to the collection.

In true Money Saving style I'm using an untouched 2009 calendar!!!

My husband is blissfully unaware of how much he has contributed to the fund by leaving his change just lying around looking for a home.....
