Can anyone tell me what the councils are using in alot of parks to hold the pea gravel together, Basically they lay the pea gravel then pour something onto it to hold it together some sort of sealer ????
Just thought it might be an effetive alternative for paths in my garden

If its what I think you mean, its bound together with resin.
This company does it. www.clearstonepaving.co.ukEat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0 -
they dont use resin as far as i know. they just use a road roller to compress it.
domestic users dont really need to go that far. over time it will get compressed with the foot traffic.
if you want the ready made compressed look then seek out pea shingle aggregate pavers. they look nearly identical and will be a lot less than any resin gravel company prices.

you'll be looking at about £50/m2 plus the base beneath. Very costly indeed. Looks the business though0
