current account with solo/switch card for someone who's had defaults?

hi...does anyone know if any bank would let me change my current account to them and give me a solo/switch card if ive got defaults? all my debts are paid now, but my current bank (rbs) still knock me back even though my acc has been fine for over 2 years since joining so think i need to change...there'll be £1300+ going in the acc each month...

We have a Basic Cashmaster account with the Clydesdale and we got a letter from them stating all Basic accounts will be upgraded to have Maestro card within the next year - if you lost or damaged yours after a certain date it would be replaced with the new card. I lost my card a few weeks ago and my new card has Maestro

You won't get a switch card as they are usually issued with accounts that allow an overdraft. You need to get a basic bank account which has no overdraft.

And others in that first link
