How to bid (and win!)

God I hate snipe bidders. Ive been outbid on dozens of things on ebay like that. But, i guess its fair play.
One thing i find strange with ebay is that when ever im interested in buying something, it always makes more than you can buy it for new!0 -

See my thread here : http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=71938&postcount=1
It all works by delaying the bidding and relying on ebays "bid up to your maximum bid" thing. If you want things that are pretty regular then just bid on lots at a low value and wait. Works wonders for me, saved £20 on a huge hard disk the other day on a early hours of the morning sniped bid it went for £12 under my low maximum too.

Isn´t there a danger that you´ll end up with more than one?0 -
If you can't beat them, join them. For anything I really want I use this https://www.ezsniper.com/index.php3
First 3 uses are free.0 -
Is there any way of avoiding the reserve bid? I wanted a watch the other day teh first bid was £50, but the 'Buy it now' was £95 so there was no way I could get it less than £95. So what's the point bidding? The buy it now price was too high anyway...??NO to pasty tax We won!!!! Just shows that people power works! Don't be apathetic to your cause!0

This might be a dumb question
but if a lot of you use these sniping programmes, won't you be 'outsniping' each other at some stage? Like for example, won't you need quicker and cleverer sniping programmes?
Or is the likelihood of that too remote on such a big outlet?0 -

I asked a simliar question earlier in the thread. I´m puzzled as to how it works if several people are using sniper.0 -

Sorry
that'll teach me not to skim read the posts. It does intrigue me though.
kanga? I don't know why you've quoted me in your question because I'm the last person that's able to answer.
