Mould Problem

I've got a mould problem in a small study at the back of our terrace (2 walls in the room are exterior walls). It's an old house with the original plaster which makes the walls really cold in winter... condensation then forms mould on walls despite trying to keep the room ventilated.
I'm wondering if anyone has any experience using Mould Growth Consultants Sempatap Thermal Products which are a bit like an insulating 'wallpaper'? They're recommended by the Energy Saving Trust as they've had independent tests carried out.

The only option I have is to take the plaster off and take the wall back to brick and then use plasterboard with an insulating layer attached to the back... a messy job!
Any suggestons welcome.
