Posting spreadsheets into threads

Hopefully an easy question for someone to answer....
can i paste spreadsheets into threads?
I want to show my workings out for savings and have it on excel but when i try and paste the spreadsheet it looks like this.....

which looks like complete jargon compared to how it looks in excel
any ideas people?

how do we make this a site suggestion then? cos i use other forums where you can loads spreadsheets into the threads, make it a lot easier, especially when you can leave the formulas in to show people how you got to the numbers0

save the file as .csv, then open it in notepad and post it here
also post the vice versa instructions to people to open it in excel0
