Help my laptop is broken

Urgently need to fix my laptop. Kids were on it, they said a box came up shaking and saying warning the volume has gone. I tried to turn it off and it wouldn't. It ran out of battery and when I charged it and tried to start it, it would not boot up. I can get safe mode but when I took it back to a recovery point it didn't work. Am moving on Monday and need it for absolutely everything. Help please!
Smile though your bank is breaking:)

I had a similar problem with mine. There is a known problem with the nvdia chip on hp and compaq machines that causes various problems. Take it a repair shop. The one I took it to in Loughborough didn't charge me to tell me it was dead
  • what os are you using? instead of trying safe mode, try last known good configuration, see if that works
