Vistaprint scam. Advice needed
Comments
-
I've used Vistaprint recently for several items including business cards, wedding invites, T-shirts, banners, postcards, pens and a mug. Everything I have ordered has been FREE except for postage charges, and as I wasn't in a hurry for any of the items, the slowest, cheapest postage at about £3 was fine.
I have never had any monthly bill, nor been conned into signing up for anything. I pay each time I order something, and only if I order something.
Have a look at the weddings and anniversaries board for a thread by fans of Vistaprint. It's not a scam.
Duomaxwe - go to their website, sign up for emails and you'll soon be offered free business cards etc.If you have nothing constructive to say just move along.0 -
So is everyone confident now that as long as you don't click on anything else they won't charge you the monthly fees?0

I ended up getting the free business cards, I just paid for the "shipping and handling", I will not be impressed if random money starts being taken out of my account, I paid them via PayPal too, if that makes any difference.0

I once ordered a couple of 'free' t shirts from vista print, just paid delivery - Ive certainly not had any random money taken from my account sinceMFW 2020 #111 Offset Balance £69,394.80/ £69,595.11

Hmm that's interesting, I don't understand why I see so many people saying on the Internet that they have, unless they're just stupid and clicked other things without realising it.
I only "bought" the free cards and paid for the postage and tax, I definitely didn't agree to anything else that came up talking about charging me.0 -
Nobody reassuring me? lol0

They sent me 5 emails today telling me to use their UK version of the website.. all the same email..0

I got caught out with this too about 2 yrs ago.. dont know if the process has changed.. but it used to be a little box that you had to un-tick if you didnt want to sign up for 30 days free of vp rewards..which then continues to take money out your account.. with no emails to say what you have signed up for etc.. so if u dont check your statements you have no idea !!
I didnt even see it at the time, so it is really easy to catch you out.. A SCAM.. YES it is.. so much so that they refund you all your money when you complain...
i still use vista print though.. the offers are really good..im just careful to read every page now !!!!!0 -
I don't recall unclicking anything, but I was watching all the pages and I never saw anything like that so I am not sure.0
